You know you're not showing up as yourself, but you're not sure how to change it
You've tried the templates and frameworks, but they don't fit your actual voice
You're building something real, but your brand feels generic or performative
Social media exhausts you because you're constantly code-switching or chasing trends
You need owned assets before platforms suppress you or AI replicates your voice
You want community with other Black women navigating the same gap
The gap between who you are and how you show up isn't just uncomfortable; it's economically and culturally dangerous. You can't build sustainable income from an inauthentic brand. You can't protect what you haven't documented. And in the age of AI mimicry and platform suppression, authenticity isn't a nice-to-have. It's survival.
Individual voice sovereignty assessment with program director Joi Donaldson. We identify your authenticity gap, explore your actual values and mission and create your creative brief for the intensive weekend.
This is where the real work happens. We spend time in the gnawing feeling, naming it, tracing its origins, understanding what's been keeping you from showing up fully.
Friday-Sunday in Richmond, VA creative studio space. This is where discovery becomes tangible work.
What happens:
Deep creative sessions building your brand foundation
Peer feedback and community building
Professional content creation (you're producing while you're here)
Photographer/videographer documenting the process
Real-time implementation with support
You're not just learning about your brand. You're creating it.
Weekly group check-ins, 1:1 refinement sessions as needed and peer accountability partnerships. We launch your content, troubleshoot implementation and make sure you're actually using what you built.
The program doesn't end when the intensive ends. You have support through the vulnerable part, putting your authentic voice out into the world.

Do I need to have a business already?
No. This program serves people launching new businesses AND people repositioning existing ones. If you're in transition, you're in the right place.
What if I can't afford the full price?
We have scholarships and sliding scale pricing. Apply anyway and indicate your financial need in the application.
I'm not in Richmond. Can I still participate?
Yes! You'll need to travel to Richmond for the 3-day intensive (Friday-Sunday), but Weeks 1, 3 and 4 are virtual.
What if I can't make the intensive weekend?
The intensive is required. If the dates don't work, you can apply for a future cohort.
Is this just for Black women?
This program is designed specifically for Black women. Our methodology, approach and community are built around the specific experiences and challenges Black women face with authenticity, code-switching and platform suppression.
What's the time commitment?
Week 1: 2-3 hours for 1:1 sessions
Week 2: Full weekend (Fri-Sun)
Weeks 3-4: 2-3 hours/week for group calls and individual work
What if I'm not "creative"?
This isn't about being a graphic designer or videographer. It's about getting clear on your authentic voice and documenting it. We handle the technical stuff. You bring the honesty.
